We Make A Good Pear...

I guess I am too lazy to put up step by step instructions with picture tutorials; however, I'm not to lazy to put up the fruit. That's got to count for something, right? I bottled up 3 boxes of pears from the farmers market a couple weeks ago- a lot of peeling. Gave me some good time to ponder life's questions... in-between interruptions with little kiddos. Here is a link to the site I used. Happy canning!

My pears NEVER looked this beautiful! I was always looking for short cuts with pears. One year I even left the peel on (which was a big mistake). You are an absolute inspiration; I'm not sure how you do it all, little sister!

Wow - I've never canned anything before, but I would really like to learn. I'm nervous about not sterilizing everything correctly. But your canned pears look amazing!

You are awesome, Lyd! Those pears look delicious and now you get to enjoy them through out the year. Maybe I will get into canning when I am not working and have more energy for the home and hearth. When that time comes, I know who to turn to for advice. Love ya, sis!

I hope that you are proud of me too,
Proud of you, I'm proud of you . . . "
